Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN): As a result of a series of direct shooting of Iranian border guards, a Kolbar was killed while two others were wounded. Moreover, three Kolbars from Sardasht and Piranshahr died of frostbite at the borderlands of Piranshahr last night.

KHRN has been informed that a group of Kolbars in the frontier elevations of the Kani Khoda of Piranshahr have suffered from frostbite which resulted in the death of three Kolbars- Hossein Sham Zadeh, from the village of Kani Eshkot in Piranshahr, Bahman (Yousef), Jasouri Nalos, 22, son of Baqi from Shinabad, Piranshahr and Sirwan Pashang from the village “Mosalan” of Sardasht lost their life. Another kolbar, who was injured, was rescued from death with the help of local people and transferred to the hospital.

In another deadly incident on April 14, 2019, the border guards in the turret 62 of Kerkush in Khoy targeted a group of Kolbars, which killed a 24-year-old Kolbar, Bahman Roshani, from the village of “Belsor Sofla”.

On 11 and 12 April, border guards also fired at two Kolbars from Khoy- “Majid Jalilpour” and “Omid Khani” in the border area of the “Kani Khoda” of Piranshahr- which resulted in the injury of both kolbars.
